· Renault's brand Alpine is about to enter China to compete in Porsche

Alpine is a sports sub-brand of Renault, which has launched many classic sports cars and won the Le Mans Endurance Championship. At the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the first sports car A110 after Alpine's "Resurrection" was officially unveiled.

Recently, Netcom learned from the State Intellectual Property Office that the design patent for the Alpine A110 model applied by Renault Automobile was approved, which indicates that the new car is about to enter the domestic market. Prior to this, Zhou Xiuyi, Assistant Marketing Director of Dongfeng Renault Automobile Co., Ltd., said that Renault will launch the Alpine brand in the Chinese market when communicating with Netcom. After the Alpine A110 enters China, it will compete with the Porsche 718 in the same segment.

As can be seen from the patent map, the Alpine A110 is identical in appearance to the overseas version. The headlights feature a unique “four-eye shape” with a double- Banner air intake grille under the front face and air intakes on both sides. Make the new car very recognizable. It is worth mentioning that since the Alpine A110 is an engine layout with a mid-mounted rear drive, the oil filler holes are mounted on the front fender.

The body size, width and height of the Alpine A110 are 4,178*1, 798*1, 252 mm, the body lines are smooth, and many aerodynamic designs are used. The French C-pillar is printed with the French tri-color flag. The "X"-shaped LED taillight strip, with the diffuser at the rear and the mid-exhaust tailpipe design, make the new car sporty.

The interior of the Alpine A110 also features a sports car with a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel and a red SPORT mode button on the steering wheel. The new car's shifting mode does not use the traditional bar type, but the button type used. The rear of the shifting area is the window button, one-button ignition and electronic handbrake.

The Alpine A110 is powered by a 1.8T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 188 kW and a peak torque of 320 Nm. The engine is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The new car has a top speed of 249 km/h and accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
